So after a whole semester this is what I have to show for myself on my grad project. The begining and end will be vastly different by the time I'm done I'm sure, and this will likely be the last video I post publicly on the internet until the end. There will probably be some pencil tests and maybe even a finished scene or two. Still, my review with my teachers went over well, and I'm going to let my brain rest on this over the holidays and come back to it in January with fresh eyes.
The water scene seems a bit long and the music I think needs to be cut more smoothly it's rather jarring. Also.....you might hate me.....but I think after all the effort taken to try and capture Sarah in the water the Kelpie needs something bigger to make him give up. Perhaps he'll give up when she escapes, kinda like after he gets the lantern off he just snorts at her and walks away. Or he needs a bigger kick, a big enough kick to knock him over or something along those lines. But it's probably a little easier to just cut it shorter. So maybe he only gets the lantern off as Sarah runs out of the water.
